Details of relevant experience • Noise Control: We understood that excessive noise from
construction activities can be disruptive to students'
learning. To address this, we scheduled noisy construction
tasks, such as concrete works, during times when students
are least likely to be affected, such as weekends or after
student knock off.
• Dust and Air Quality Management: community and
students' health and well-being were paramount. We
implemented stringent dust control measures, including
regular watering of the construction site and the use of
dust suppression systems, to maintain air quality standards
within and around the school premises.
• Traffic Management: Safety was our top priority. We
worked closely with school administrators and community
leaders to develop a traffic management plan that ensured
the safe movement of students, staff, and the community
during construction activities. This involved establishing
designated pedestrian pathways, temporary signage, and
speed limits to minimize the risk of accidents.

Details of relevant experience • Before commencing any work, we conducted a thorough
risk assessment to identify potential hazards associated
with the work activities. This included assessment of risks
such as structural instability, hazardous materials, and
unstable soil conditions.
• We utilize industry-standard tools and methodologies,
such as Task Risk Assessments (TRA) and have work
permits signed by HSE officer before works commenced,
to systematically identify and prioritize risks, ensuring that
appropriate control measures are implemented.
• The project was guided by robust safety protocols and
procedures developed in accordance with regulatory
requirements and industry standards. These protocols
covered a wide range of safety measures, including
personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, safe
work practices, and emergency response procedures.
• Our workforce underwent entry and exit medicals and
rigorous training in occupational health and safety,
including specialized training for critical tasks specific like
working at height, working in confined space, working
with electrical and driving. This ensured that all personnel
are competent and equipped to perform their duties safely
and effectively.

Details of relevant experience • To mitigate the risks associated with demolition activities,
we implemented engineering controls such as scaffolding,
shoring, and bracing to prevent structural collapse and
falling debris. Additionally, we conduced thorough
inspections of existing structures to identify and remove
hazardous materials, such as asbestos and lead.
• Excavation-related hazards, such as cave-ins and trench
collapses, were mitigated through the implementation of
protective systems such as sloping, benching, and trench
boxes. Our team also closely monitored soil conditions
and implements ground stabilization measures as
necessary.
• During blockworks, we prioritized the use of ergonomic
tools and equipment to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal
injuries among our workforce. We also implemented
measures to prevent falls from heights, such as guardrails
and safety harnesses, and ensure proper ventilation in
enclosed spaces to mitigate the risk of exposure to
hazardous fumes.

Details of relevant experience • In cases where tree cutting is unavoidable, we develop
mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on the local
ecosystem. This may include replanting native tree species
in designated areas, creating wildlife corridors, and
enhancing green infrastructure to offset the loss of tree
canopy cover.
• Our approach to tree cutting control emphasizes the
principle of "no net loss" of trees, whereby any trees
removed during construction are compensated for through
equivalent or greater tree planting efforts elsewhere. This
ensures that the overall ecological balance is maintained
and biodiversity is preserved.
• For every tree cut, 10 are replaced.
