ABOUT OPEN CENTRAL POLICE CANTEEN

Central Police Force Canteen is a department established under the aegis of

Ministry of Home Affairs operating with its HQs at New Delhi for providing goods and
consumer durables to the personnel in active duty and retired CAPFs personnel which
broadly includes BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles. This facility has now
been extended to all security agencies under MHA like I.B., SPG, NCRB, CBI & also to all
State Police serving and retired personnel and their families and also RPF.

Central Police Canteen system is operating on PAN India basis. It has a wide
network of 124 Master Canteens with around 650 Subsidiary Canteens/Outlets in different
parts of the country. Master Canteens are working like depots which place demand to
Manufacturers/Suppliers based on the demand of subsidiary canteen and further distribute
stores to its subsidiary canteen/outlets.

At present 149 Firms are registered with CPC. It has been ensured that all
segments of daily consumable goods and house appliances are made available in these
canteens.
