USB Port Blocker for Physical Blocking of USB Ports

USB Port Blockers

USB Ports shall be blocked either Physically by use of Port Blockers or logically
disabled.

For OT equipment such as ECDIS, Cargo monitoring, Engine monitoring, vessels


shall block the USB ports Physically using Port Blockers.

The USB Port Blocker is made up of a combined 'key' and 'lock' assembly which
plugs into the USB port. This can be used to physically block the USB ports to
restrict access.

For IT equipment such as ship’s computers, the USB ports can be blocked by
logically disabling same. Where this is not possible, use port blockers to
physically block the USB port.
