Notice

As T-Mobile continues evaluating our endpoint solutions and ways

to improve the computing experience, we’re beginning to
transition some users from Magenta Workstations (Citrix) to
Modern Desktop Cloud (MDC) PCs, a Windows 365 virtual
workstation managed by T-Mobile.

Modern Desktop Cloud (MDC) PCs offer cloud computing

resources that are not tied to our US-based data centers like with
our on-prem Citrix Magenta Workstations. The MDC solution
enables us to address the latency barriers impacting our offshore
NTWs’/contractors’ productivity and user experience caused by
geographical distance from our US data centers.

What we need from you

To prepare for the transition, please verify a few pieces of

information by responding to the MDC Assessment.

The sooner you complete the MDC Assessment for yourself the
sooner you will gain access to your new Modern Desktop Cloud
PC.

Once you complete the form, we will follow up with an email

confirming your MDC has been provisioned and is ready to use,
along with instructions on how to access and migrate. Before we
remove access to your Magenta Workstation, you will have 3
weeks of concurrent access with your Modern Desktop Cloud PC
to prevent work stoppage.

A MW to MDC Transition Support Teams channel is available for

questions and general guidance, however, the channel does not
replace the normal process for submitting incidents via the
Service Desk.
