College Human Bingo
College Human Bingo
Human BINGO is a fun, interactive activity that helps people get to know each other
and have conversations about college. Use it with students in class or with staff
during a meeting.
Materials
1 BINGO card per player
Pen or pencil
How to play
Pass out one BINGO card per player.
Players must find a person who attended the college or for whom the statements about
college experiences are true. Students must find a teacher, administrator, other school staff
member, and/or member of the community to sign their card.
That person signs the box which contains their true statement. Depending on the number of
people, you can specify how many times people may sign one BINGO card.
Five in a row wins: horizontal, vertical, or diagonal.
Extension activities
Players have a conversation about the college or experience with each person that signs
their card.
Players choose one or more of the colleges or experiences on their card and write a short
essay (e.g. something they’re looking forward to or basic facts about a college).
Lead a large group debrief about the variety of types of colleges and experiences.
