Meeting Time 1  Review of concepts learned from the previous day.
Routine  Introduction of message for the day by asking the guide questions
listed below.
Message Nagsisimula sa makulimlim na kalangitan ang maulang panahon.
Magdala ng payong o kapote upang hindi mabasa ng ulan at maiwasang
magkasakit.
Questions/Activity - Ano ang pakiramdan mo tuwing maulan ang panahon?
Meeting Time 1 Pagpapakita ng mga bagay na ginagamit sa tag ulan tulad ng payong
sumbrero at iba pa.
- Bakit mahalang magdala ng payong at kapote tuwing lalabas tayo ng
bahay sa maulang panahon?
- Ano ang maaaring mangyari sa atin kapag tayo ay nagpaulan?
Song Let the learners sing the song “Ang Panahon” by Teacher Cleo.
Transition to Work The teacher gives instructions on how to do the independent activities,

Materials: picture cards of different types and items of clothing for
different kinds of weather, picture cards of a sunny day and a rainy
day.
Procedure:
1. The teacher shows the picture cards of the sunny and rainy days
and asks the learners to describe them.
2. The teacher shows the picture cards of the different articles of
clothing and asks the learners to describe them.
3. The teacher places the picture cards of a sunny and rainy day
on the table, and asks the learners to classify the items of clothing
under either picture card.
4. The teacher asks the learners to explain why they grouped the
articles of clothing the way they did.
Learning Checkpoint  Identify proper clothing in different weather conditions and
occasions.
Independent Activities GROUP 1: Umbrella Coloring
Competencies:
 Tell and describe the different kinds of weather (sunny, rainy,

1. Ask the learners to color the umbrella.
2. Discuss the importance of using umbrella during rainy season.

Procedure:
1. Ask the learners to trace the letter Ññ repeatedly until they fill up
the page.

GROUP 3: Count and Match Raindrops


Competencies:
 Count objects with one-to-one correspondence up to quantities
of 10 (MKC-00-7)
 Recognize and identify numerals 0-10 (MKC-00-2
Materials: pencil, worksheets
Procedure:
1. The teacher will ask the learners to count the raindrops.
2. Let the learners to connect the raindrops to its corresponding
number.

Learning Checkpoints
 Color the umbrella using different colors.
 Identify the name and sound of letter Ññ.
 Copy and write letter Ññ.
 Match and count raindrops to its corresponding number.
Transition to Meeting The teacher reminds the learners about the time left in Work Period
Time 2 Time 1 around 15 minutes before Meeting Time 2. After 10 minutes, the
teacher tells the learners to start packing away the materials they used
and be ready for Meeting Time 2. A transition song or a countdown
may be used.
Questions/Activity Let the learners present their work. Afterwards, encourage them to sing
the song “Rain, rain go away...”

cover the raindrops with the picked number.
2. Do the activity until all the raindrops are covered.

Independent Activities GROUP 1: Rainbow: Color by Number
Competencies:
 Tell and describe the different kinds of weather (sunny, rainy,

 Read and write numerals 0 to 10 (MKC-00-3)

Materials: crayons, pencil, worksheet

Procedure:
1. Ask the learners to color the rainbow according
to the corresponding number.
2. Have a simple presentation, afterwards.

GROUP 2: Clouds Cotton Balls Counting

Competencies:
 Recognize and identify numerals 0-10 (MKC-00-2)
 Read and write numerals 0 to 10 (MKC-00-3)

Materials: clothespins with cotton balls, printed material

Procedure:
1. Ask the learners to count the dots inside the cloud. Let them write
the number.
2. Clip the exact number of clothespins with cotton balls into the
cloud.

GROUP 3: Picture Addition

Competencies:
• Recognize and visualize situations that require addition and
subtraction
Materials: pencil, worksheet

Procedure:
1. Using their fingerprints, ask the learners to make raindrops with the
corresponding number inside the clouds.

Transition to Indoor The teacher reminds the learners about the time left in Work Period

2. Ask the learners to hunt for the raindrops cut out.
3. As the learners finds the raindrops, ask them what the name and
sound of the letter they found.
