In today’s operational scenarios, electronic

warfare effectiveness and readiness must be
maintained by a smaller more mobile force
structure. Cobham’s compact C-130 Hercules
Universal Pylon has been developed for
combat front-line use.
The Universal Pylon includes removable panels
for easy component access, fast mounting,
and quick interface connectivity; as well as
removable forward and aft fairings.
Cobham pylons are designed to support
Cobham manufactured external fuel tanks and
aerial refueling systems.

Features

• Provisions for various store electrical interface options

• Utilizes MAU-12 Ejection Rack
• Pinned to prevent inadvertent jettison
• Greatly simplifies aircraft servicing
• Store installation/removal requires no unique training
• Store installation/removal can be accomplished very quickly
