● In the last 50 years, the planet's population has doubled.

According to the United


Nations and Statistics Times, the world's population in 2024 is 8.2 billion, up from 4
billion in 1974. Annually, about 140 million children are born worldwide.
● To understand more about these 8 billion people, if you conducted a nonstop 10-minute
interview with each individual, it would take approximately 152,000 years, which is
obviously impossible for a human. But we’ll try to learn about a maximum of these 8
billion people in this video. So, let’s shrink the entire world’s population to 100 people
and keep our 100 people as the real world’s population.
● In a world population of 100 people, the gender distribution would be equal, with 50 men
and 50 women.

Most of these people would be Young :

● 26 people would be under 15 years old.


● 16 people would be aged 15-24.
● 41 people would be aged 25-54.
● 9 people would be aged 55-64.
● and 8 people would be 65 years or older. This distribution reflects global aging trends,
with increasing median ages due to lower birth rates and higher life expectancy.

Most of these people would living in asia like:

● 59 would be from Asia.

● 17 would be from Africa.

● 10 would be from Europe.

● 8 would be from Latin America and the Caribbean.

● 5 would be from North America.

● and 1 would be from Oceania (including Australia and the Pacific islands).

● To reflect the current global urbanization trends. The geographical distribution of these
100 people would include 40 living in urban areas, 30 in rural settings, 20 in coastal
regions, and 10 in mountainous areas.

● To Distribute the population of these people, on the bases of country would be:

○ 18 from China.
○ 18 from India.
○ 4 from the United States.
○ 3 from Indonesia.
○ 3 from Pakistan.
○ 3 from Nigeria.
○ 2 from Brazil.
○ 2 from Bangladesh.
○ 2 from Russia.
○ 1 from Mexico.
○ And The remaining 44 would represent the rest of the world, including smaller yet
significant populations.
● The languages of these hundred people people :

○ 12 would speak Mandarin Chinese.


○ 6 would speak Spanish.
○ 6 would be native English speakers.
○ 5 would speak Hindi.
○ 4 would speak Arabic.
○ 4 would speak Bengali.
○ 3 would speak Portuguese.
○ 3 would speak Russian.
○ 3 would speak Japanese.
○ 2 would speak Punjabi.
○ 2 would speak German.
○ 2 would speak Javanese.
○ And 44 would speak various other languages (these would include languages
like Telugu, Korean, French, Turkish, Vietnamese, and Tamil).

To talk about latricy:

● 85 are literate and 15 are illiterate.


● 90 have access Primary Education: and 10 lack access.
● 40 have a degree while 60 don’t.
● and 30 have access to Vocational Training while 70 lack access.

If we represent global wealth distribution in a population of 100 people, it typically looks like :

● 1 person would own more than 50% of the world's wealth.


● 6 people would share approximately 50% of the world's wealth (which includes the
wealth of the first person).
● 13 people would own about 40% of the world's wealth (totaling 90% for these 13).
● 30 people would own around 10% of the world's wealth.
● 50 people would have very little, sharing just about 1% of the world's wealth.

The relgion breakdown of these hundred people would be:

● 31 would be Christian (including all denominations).


● 24 would be Islamic (including all sects).
● 15 would be Hindu.
● 7 would be Buddhist.
● 6 would practice folk or traditional religions.
● 2 would be Sikh.
● 1 would be Jewish.
● and 14 would be non-religious, agnostic, or atheist.

Now to talk about the resources:


● 91 would have access to safe drinking water.
● and 9 would lack access.
● 85people have access to Sufficient Food .
● and 15 people experience food insecurity.
● To talk about the Global Health and Healthcare:
● 70 have access to Basic Healthcare and 30 lack access.

To talk about their health:

● 10 people are underweight.


● 30 are overweight .

If the world’s population were 100 people:

● 77 would have a home.


● 22 would lack safe or permanent housing.
● and 1 person is homeless
● 87 would have access the electracity.
● and 13 would lack access of electricity.
● 63 would have access to internet.
● and 37 would not .

To talk about the works of them:

● 10 people run their own businesses.


● 60 work in traditional jobs and labours.
● and 30 are unemployed.

Relationships:

● 50 people are in committed relationships either married or partnered.


● 30 are single.
● 10 are divorced or separated.
● 25 experience strained relationships (family, friends, or partners).
● 15 feel socially isolated and lack meaningful connections.

● 22 people would smoke.
● 78 people would not smoke.

● 16 people would struggle with alcohol use disorder (drinking excessively or
problematically).
● 84 people would not have an alcohol use disorder.

● 5 people would use illegal drugs or misuse prescription drugs.
● 95 people would not use drugs.

To talk about their transport:

● 18 people would own a car.


● 37 people would rely on public transportation like buses, trains, or shared vehicles.
● 45 people would either walk, cycle, or have limited access to any form of regular
transportation.
● And finally 2 persons will have the name starting with muhhmad

And According to some estimates this population of 100 people will become 125.
