Summer Placement Report 2022-24
FOREWORD
IIM Nagpur has completed the Summer Placements process for the eighth batch of its flagship Masters of Business
Administration Program (MBA). With the largest batch size of 253 students who appeared for the Summer Placement
process this year, IIM Nagpur successfully completed this placement season on 23rd March 2023. The current batch
placements process was conducted through virtual and offline modes. IIM Nagpur welcomed recruiters across various
sectors like Consulting, BFSI, FMCG/FMCD, ITES, E-Commerce, Manufacturing, and Logistics.
We are happy to have had the opportunity to welcome more than 125 recruiters for the process, which shows the industry's
faith in the talent pool at IIM Nagpur. The prominent recruiters who have participated in this Campus Placement Season
include Adani, Aditya Birla Capital, ICICI Bank, BNY Mellon, IBM, Dalmia Bharat, Crompton, TVS Credit Services, Zycus,
Vedanta, Atlas Copco, V-guard Industries, Godrej Properties, Fujitsu, Bajaj Finance and many more. IIM Nagpur has
witnessed an increase in the average stipend by 11.88% and an increase in the median stipend by 34.83% to ₹ 78,792/-
and ₹ 60,000/- respectively, in this Summer Placement Season.
ITES and Manufacturing emerged as the most sought-after sectors, followed by Banking, with more than 60 percent
of the batch opting for companies in these sectors. The most preferred roles among students were in Sales and Marketing,
General Management, Strategy Consulting, IT & Analytics, Operations, and Finance, followed by the roles in Product
Management. This year also witnessed first-time recruiters' participation, including Adani, Aditya Birla Capital, and
Godrej Properties.
