Ejemplos:

John is interested in health. (John está interesado en la

salud.)

Denise was bored in class. (Denise estaba aburrida en

clase.)

Luke is excited about this new job. (Luke está emocionado con su nuevo
empleo.)

KEEPING A PERSONAL HEALTH RECORD

It may be quite surprising, but the vast majority of people in the United States do not keep a
comprehensive and up to date Personal Health Record. This is a mistake as there are many
benefits from making sure that a person’s medical details are as thorough as possible. Generally, a

Personal Health Record refers to all the medical information in a person’s life. This includes all
health issues, medications that are taken, and any surgical procedures or other problems that the
patient has undergone. In this manner, the Well Being of the person is efficiently narrated, leading
to many possible benefits.

In a health record, there should be a number of things relating to the overall Well Being of the
patient. All possible allergies and individual problems with certain drugs need to be documented.
The record also shows all vaccinations that have been given to the person as well as the most
recent laboratory results. Immunization data is also relevant and a patient’s family medical history
may also be included as part of the information. In total, a complete health record should cover all
aspects that involve the patient’s Well Being and medical care.

The main application of having a Personal Health Record complete with the most recent data is in
emergency situations. In these cases, the patient may not be able to communicate any past medical
problems and the health record may provide medical personnel with the only information they have
about relevant conditions. Also, emergency personnel can see if a person has any drug interaction
problems before administering any medications. Many people are choosing to keep this information
with them at all times using a USB drive or CD-ROM. In addition, smart phones are now capable of
carrying the data, giving people one more option for having the health record close at hand. Still,
there is a better option that provides the best way to keep the information available and secure the
patient’s Well Being.

In modern times, a person has the option to transmit their Personal Health Record online. This is
becoming an increasingly popular decision because doctors are now able to retrieve the relevant
data quite easily and there are no forms to be filled out. With typical patient forms, seemingly small
things may be forgotten, but could play a major part in treatment for a condition or problem. For the
best possible Well Being, all of these details should be communicated to any physician or other
medical personnel that will be providing treatment. Physicians are now using the data found in
health record databases to monitor disease outbreaks and providing easy access to treatment for
patients of specific conditions. Using the online Personal Health Record option allows a patient to
make sure that the doctors have the right information to make an interesting decision about the best
method of treatment.

posibles.
