Advertisement for the Position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the project titled “Molecular
Engineering of Organic Hole Transport Materials for High-Performance Perovskite Solar Cells” at the
Centre for Nano and Material Sciences (CNMS), JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore, Karnataka.
Qualification and Experience:
1. M. Sc. in Organic Chemistry/ General Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry or any related areas. Candidate
should have obtained at least 60% marks in qualifying degree examination.
2. Preference will be given to CSIR-UGC NET (JRF/LS) or GATE or SLET qualified candidate.
3. Candidates who have prior experiences in Organic Synthesis, Nanoelectronics and Device Fabrications,
Nanophotonics, and Organic Solar Cells are desired.
4. Proficiency in English language is required.
Stipend:
The salary and appointment terms are consistent with the current rules for PhD degree students of JAIN
(Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore, Karnataka.
Duration:
Initial appointment for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on the performance.
