2) भामा यूऐसे भारतीय नाग रक को सं वदा मक आधार पर यंग ोफेशन सके प बीआईएस के साथ काम करने का उ कृ ट अवसर

3) काय का थान:एक यंग ोफेशनल को भारतीय मानक यूरो, अहमदाबाद शाखा कायालय म और एक को पि चमी े ीय
कायालय, मुंबई म तैनात कया जाएगा, हालाँ कपोि टं ग थानआव यकताकेअनुसारबदला जा सकता है।
4) चयन या: उ मीदवार को शै णक यो यता, काय अनुभव/अनस

आधार पर शॉट ल टजाएगी। यो यता पूर करने या शॉट ल ट होने मा से यंग ोफेशनलके प म नयु त होने का कोई अ धकार
नह ं मल जाएगा। शॉट ल ट कए गए उ मीदवार को सा ा कार के लए बुलाया जाएगा। भामा यू बना कोई कारण बताए कसी भी
या सभी आवेदन को अ वीकार करने का अ धकार रखता है ।
5) नयुि त क अव ध: नयुि तपूण प से दो वष क अव ध के लए सं वदा मक आधार पर है।
6) नयुि त क कृ त: नयुि तपूण प से सं वदा मक आधार पर है और सं वदा अव ध के अंत म नयुि त समा त हो जाएगी।
7) पा र मक:यंग ोफेशनल को दो वष के लए नधा रत 70,000/- पये (केवल स र हजार पये) का समे कत मा सक पा र मक
दया जाएगा। यहपा र मक वैधा नक कटौती के अधीन है।
8) ट ए/डीए: असाइनमट म शा मल होने या उसके पूरा होने पर कोई ट ए/डीए वीकाय नह ं होगा। य द आ धका रक असाइनमट के
सल सले म या ा करने और रहने क आव यकता होती है, तो यंग ोफेशनलको वै ा नक-बी/सहायक नदे शक तर के नय मत
भामा यू अ धकार को वीकाय ट ए/डीए और आवास भ ा के अनुसार भग
ु तान कया जाएगा।
9) छु ट :यंग ोफेशनल एक कैलडर वष म बारह (12) दन क छु ट के पा ह गे। वीकाय अवकाश से अ धक अनुपि थ त क अव ध
के लए कोई पा र मक नह ं दया जाएगा। साथ ह बकाया छु टय को न तो अगले वष के लए आगे बढ़ाया जाएगा और न ह
भुनाया जाएगा।
10) काम के घंटे: यंग ोफेशनल नधा रत सामा य कायालयीन काय-समय (सुबह 9.00 बजे से शाम 5.30 बजे तक) का पालन करगे।

11) कोई अ य असाइनमट नह ं: नयुि त पूणका लक आधार पर है और यंग ोफेशनलभामा यू म नयुि त क अव ध के दौरान कोई
अ य असाइनमटनह ं लेगा।
12) या ा, च क सा लाभ और सेवा के दौरान मृ यु, चोट या बीमार : सं वदा शत के अनुसार भामा यू क ओर से काय करने और या
आ धका रक काय न पादन हे तु या ा के दौरान या भारत सरकार या भामा यू के प रसर या कसी अ य कायालय म सं वदा के
अंतगत कोई कायालयीन काय न पादन के कारण हुई यंग ोफेशनलक मृ य,ु चोट या बीमार क ि थ त मयंग ोफेशनलया यंग
ोफेशनलके आ त, जैसा उ चत हो, कसी भी मुआवजे या कसी भी दावे के हकदार नह ं ह गे।
13) मे डकल फटनेस और पु लस स यापन: यंग ोफेशनलक नयुि त के उपरांत पु लस स यापन कया जाएगा। नयुि त हण करने
के समय समय यंग ोफेशनल कसी अ धकृत/पंजीकृत मे डकल ैि टशनर ह ता रत मे डकल फटनेस माणप भी जमा करगे।
14) सं वदा/ नयिु तक समाि त: यंग ोफेशनलक नयिु त को भामा यू वारा कसी भी समय बना कोई कारण बताए 30 दन का
नो टस दे कर समा त कया जा सकता है। हालाँ क, य द यंग ोफेशनलइ तीफा दे ना चाहता है, तो उसे नयुि त से इ तीफा दे ने से
पहले 30 दन क अ म सूचना या उसके बदले म30 दन का पा र मक दे ना होगा।
15) आंकड़ा और द तावेज़ क गोपनीयता:
क. एक कए गए आंकड़ के साथ-साथ भामा यू के लए उ पा दत ड लवरे ब स के बौ धक संपदा अ धकार भामा यू के पास
रहगे।
ख. भामा यू म असाइनमट के उ दे य से एक कया गया आंकड़ा या सांि यक य आंकड़ा या कायवाह या जानकार के कसी
भी भाग का योग तीसरे प के साथउपयोग या काशन या खुलासा हेतु नह ं कया जाएगा।
ग. यंग ोफेशनलअनुबंध क समाि त से पहले या अं तम भुगतान जार होने से पहले भामा यू को असाइनमट के रकॉड का
पूरा सेट स पने के लए बा य है।
घ. यंग ोफेशनलक नौकर गोपनीयता के उ चतम मानक को आक षत करती है और सभी तर पर अ धकार के सभी
काय म गोपनीयताबनाए रखने क उ मीद क जाती है।
16) हत का मतभेद: नयु त यंग ोफेशनल कसी भी मामले म कसी यि त कोभामा यू के हत के व धराय या सलाह नह ं दे गा।
17) अ य नयम एवं शत और सामा य नदश-
I. यह यात य है क य द नयुि त के कसी भी चरण मयह पाया जाता है क उ मीदवार ने कोई गलत/मनगढ़ं त
जानकार /द तावेज जमा कए ह, तो उनक उ मीदवार तुरंत र द कर द जाएगी और वह लागूकानन

II. उ मीदवार के पास एक वैध ई-मेल आईडी और मोबाइल नंबर होना चा हए, िजसे आवेदन प म नधा रत थान पर दज
करनाहोगा और भत या परू होने तक स य/वैध रखना होगा। एक बार ईमेल आईडी और मोबाइल नंबर जमा कए
जाने के प चात इसम कोई प रवतन वाकाय नह ं होगा। गलत या बंद हो चुक ईमेल आईडी और मोबाइल नंबर के लए
उ मीदवार वयं उ रदायी होगा।

IV. यूरो कसी भी ु ट और चक

कसी भी ावधान म संशोधन/सुधार करने या प रि थ तय के अनक
ु ू ल होने पर व ापन और नयुि त को र द करने का

V. चेतावनी: यूरो म चयन वतं , न प और यो यता आधा रत है। कसी भी तर पर चयन या को भा वत करने का
कोई भी यास पाए जाने पर उ मीदवार या सेवा समा त क जा सकती है । इस ि थ त म संबं धत यि त के खलाफ
कानूनी कारवाई शु क जाएगी।
VI. नयुि त या स हत इस व ापन से उ प न होने वाला कोई भी ववाद मुंबई म ि थत यायालय के एकमा
े ा धकार के अधीन होगा।

18) आवेदन जमा करना: उ मीदवार को केवल भामा यू वेबसाइट यानी www.services/bis.gov.in/php/BIS_2.0/login के मा यम
से ऑनलाइन आवेदन करना होगा।ऑनलाइन आवेदन या भामा यू क वेबसाइट पर समाचार प म व ापन के काशन क
09.12.2024 से स य हो जाएगी। आवेदन करने क अं तम त थ 28.12.2024 होगी। आवेदन ऑलाइन मा यम से ह करे । कसी

1. Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), a statutory body under the administrative control of Ministry of
Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Govt. of India is the National Standards Body of India
and is responsible for activities in the field of Standardization, Product and System Certification,
Hallmarking, Laboratory Testing etc., in the country.

2. BIS offers excellent opportunities to Indian nationals with proven academic credentials,
professional achievements, good working knowledge of technology-based skills on the computer,
strong communication and interpersonal skills and leadership qualities for engaging with BIS as
Young Professionals (YPs). The details of the advertisement are as follows:-

3. Job Location:One Young Professional shall be posted at Bureau of Indian Standards, Ahmedabad
Branch office and one at Western Regional Office,Mumbai, however posting location may change as
per requirement.

4. Selection Process: All the applications received shall be scrutinized and shortlisted. Candidates will
be shortlisted in the light of their qualifications, experience and other detailed provided in the
application form. Mere fulfillment of qualification or shortlisting shall not confer any right to be
engaged as Young Professionals. Shortlisted candidates will be called for practical assessment,
written assessment, technical knowledge assessment, interview, etc. BIS reserves the right to reject
any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof.

5. Tenure of Engagement: The engagement is purely on contract for a period of Two years.

6. Nature of Engagement: The engagement is purely on contract basis and the engagement will be
subject to termination at the end of contract period. .

7. Remuneration: A consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs.70,000/- (Rupees Seventy Thousand

only), fixed for two years, will be paid to the Young Professional. The remuneration is subject to
statutory deductions.

8. TA/DA: No TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the assignment or on its completion. If required
to travel and stay in connection with the official assignment, TA/DA and lodging allowance as
admissible to a regular BIS officer of the Level of Sc-B/Assistant Director, will be paid.

9. Leave: Young Professional shall be eligible for Twelve (12) days leave in a calendar year. No
remuneration forthe period of absence in excess of admissible leave will be paid. Also, un-availed
leave shall neither be carried forward to next year nor en-cashed.

10. Working Hours: The Young Professional shall follow the normal office working hours as
prescribed (i.e. 9.00AM to 5.30PM). However, as per the exigency one has to sit late to complete the
time bound work or outstation assignments. Attendance would be made through Bio-metric
attendance system.

11. No Other Assignment: The engagement is on full-time basis and Young Professional shall not
take any other assignment during the period of engagement in BIS.

12. Travel, Medical Clearance and Service incurred Death, Injury or illness: In the event of the
death, injury or illness of the individual YP which is attributable to the performance of services on
behalf of BIS under the terms of the contract, and/or while travelling for official duty or is performing
any services under the contract in any offices or premises of BIS or Government of India, the
individual YP or the individual YP’s dependents, as appropriate shall not be entitled to any
compensation or any claim whatsoever.

13. Medical fitness and Police Verification: Police verification will be conducted after the
engagement of the YPs. The YPs will also submit, a medical fitness certificate from a
authorized/registered Medical Practitioner, at the time of joining.

14. Termination of Contract/Engagement: The engagement of Young Professional can be terminated

by BIS at any time without assigning any reasons thereof by giving them 30 days’ notice. However, in
case the officer wishes to resign, he/she will have to give 30 days’ advance notice or remuneration in
lieu of thereof, before resigning from the engagement.

15. Confidentiality of Data and Documents:

(a) The intellectual property rights of the data collected as well as deliverables produced for the BIS
shall remain with BIS.

(b) The data shall not be utilized or published or disclosed or to be part with, to a third party, any part
of the data or statistical or proceedings or information collected for the purpose of his assignment in
BIS.

(c) The Young Professional is bound to hand over the entire set of records of assignment to the BIS
before the expiry of contract or before the final payment is released.

(d) The job of Young Professional attracts highest standards of confidentially and it is expected to be
maintained in all the actions of officer, at all levels.

16. Conflict of Interest: The Young Professional appointed, shall in no case represent or give opinion
or advice to others in any matter which is in conflict to the interest of BIS.

17. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

i) Candidates should note that, if at any stage of engagement, it is found that the candidates
has submitted any false/fabricated information/documents, his/her candidature will be
cancelled immediately and he/she will be liable for action as per Law/Rules.

ii) Candidates should have a valid e-mail ID & Mobile No. which should be entered at
appropriate place in the application form and must remain active/valid until recruitment
processes are completed. No change in the email ID & mobile number will be accepted once
submitted. The candidate himself/herself shall be responsible for wrong or expired email ID &
mobile number.

iii) Candidate should note that their candidature at all stages of engagement is purely on
contract basis.

iv)Bureau reserves the right to amend/modify vacancies notified and any provision of this
advertisement in case of any errors and omissions/deviation or to cancel the advertisement
and engagement if the circumstances so warrant.

v) Warning: Selection in the Bureau is free, fair and merit based. Any attempt to influence the
selection process detected at any stage is liable to lead to termination of the candidature of
service and legal actionagainst the concerned individual will be initiated.

vi) Any resulting dispute arising out of this advertisement including the engagement process
shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the Courts situated at Mumbai.
