CASE OF ABNORMALITY:
‘Missing out the Dos while on duty due to human tendency.
REPERCUSSIONS:
1. It will be Safety hazard.

WHAT TO DO:
. Report to lobby in time. Check for the latest SOB's, Safety fiy leafs and Caution Orders
and other relevant information,
. Sign On in the CMS KIOSK, including B.A. Test
. Collect the CTR and 1/409 and compare those with display board at lobby.
|. Set your watch with control time and exchange the same with loco Crew.
. Ensure that the BPC is correct and valid,
. Compare wagon numbers with BPC and VG at random.
. Ensure that wagons are evenly loaded.

Brake blocks are correctly positioned.
Ensure D.V. handle is in vertical position,
Cut off angle cock at the rear of B.V. isin closed position,
B.P./F.P, Pipes in slovage postion.

Ensure Hand brake of 8.V. is in released condition and it is rotating freely.
Ensure quick coupler is available.
Fix the gauge to @.C. and check the required pressure/vacuum.
Contact the Driver and have continuity of formation tested.
Fix the Tail Board / Lamp accordingly.
Ensure the brake van is clean.
Inform the concemed station staff that your train is ready,
Ensure proceed sianals are taken off conectly and token off for vour train only,
By physically observing and/or by confirmation with LP and SM.
Start the train after positive exchange of alright signals with LP and/or SM,

HOC/TOC memo
Prepare the HOC/TOC details on the back side of V.G. as follows:
TOC and Starting station: Name and Road No,
Date and time of departure.
Train No. and Name,
Engine No. Shed, Type.
Load details and commodity.
BPC details.
Sumo memo detail {if any).
Details of Memos which effects the condition of Train:
* Drivers Name and H.Q.
© Guards Name and H.@.
* HOC at Arrived Station: Arrived time and Road No.
WHAT NOT TO DO:
1. Don't take anything for granted.
2, Don't assume.
Suggestion by AIGC:
Details of stabling if any, must be written on V.G. like number of brakes applied, chains
and skids positioned etc., staple the HOC/IOC Memo with Train documents i.e., VG, BPC
other connected Memos and hand over to the OG Guard or SM.
