REVISION OF WRITING
1. Write about your favourite hobby, (about 60- 70 words). You can base on some suggestions
below:

Sample: My favorite hobby is reading books. I started reading when I was eight years old. I read books
every day, especially before bed. I like reading stories about adventures and animals. Reading makes me
feel happy and relaxed. I can learn new words and interesting lessons from books. It helps me understand
the world better and makes my imagination grow. I love my hobby very much.
2. Write about what we need to do every day to have a healthier life. (about 60-70 words).

Sample: To have a healthier life, we should eat healthy food like fruits and vegetables every day. We need
to drink a lot of water and do more exercises, like walking or running. It’s important to sleep early and not
stay up late. We shouldn’t eat too much junk food or drink sugary drinks. I learned these tips from my
teacher and my family. A healthy lifestyle helps us stay strong and keep fit.
3. Write about volunteer work that you want to join. (about 60-70 words).

Sample: I want to join a volunteer group to clean parks. The work includes picking up trash, planting

feels great to help nature and make the park beautiful. The advantage is that it helps people and animals,
but it can be tiring. I would like to join more volunteer work in the future.
4. Write a paragraph of 60-70 words about a show or a festival you would like to see.

Sample: I would like to see a water puppet show. It starts in the evening, around 7:00 PM. The show
takes place in a theater near a big lake in the city. At the show, I can watch the puppets move on water and
listen to traditional music. I like this show because it is fun and shows a lot about Vietnamese culture. It’s
an amazing experience to see.
5. Write a paragraph of 60-70 words about a popular food or drink in your area.

Sample: Pho is a popular food in my area. It is a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup. Its ingredients are
rice noodles, beef or chicken, and a broth made from bones, ginger, and spices. People cook it by boiling
the broth for hours and adding fresh noodles, meat, and herb. We enjoy pho for breakfast, lunch, or dinner
and even at a midnight snack. People love it because it’s delicious, warm, and healthy.
6. Write a paragraph of 60-70 words about your school.

Sample: My school’s full name is Trinh Hoai Duc secondary school. It is in a small town near my house.
The teachers are kind and helpful, and the students are friendly. The school has a big library, clean
classrooms, and over 70 classrooms with many projectors, computers and modern equipment. Students
can play football, run, and have fun during breaks. I love my school because it’s a great place to learn and
play with my friends!
