Zscaler Installation & Configuration Guide

1. Open any Browser and paste the link below to download the Zscaler-windows-
4.5.0.337-installer-x64.exe file.

Note: Make sure your downloaded version of Zscaler setup file must be 4.5.0.337 & x64
executable file.

2. After downloading the exe file, right click & select “RUN as ADMINISTRATOR” as shown
below in screenshot.

3. Once the installer starts click on the next as shown below

4. Please follow the screens to install the Zscaler application (Click on next) as shown
below

5. Installation process will begin as shown below

6. Click on the Finish button once the installation process is complete.

7. Zscaler application will start as shown below

8. Kindly input your received credentials via email or shared by KPTCL IT team or Vishvin IT
Team.

Note: Username will be in email format as shown below

9. Click on the login to Discover services and Downloading service configuration from
Server as shown below.

10. Key in the received password & click on Sign In below as shown below

11. Please create your own password as shown below

Note: Your password must be 8 Characters minimum with 1 special character, 1 numerical
character, 1 upper case character & 1 lower case character.

12 Once Zscaler logged in successfully. Follow the below steps to modify the Host file to access
the E-o ice over the internet via Zscaler.

Eidt the HOST file in below location.

Go to: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

Right Click on Host Select Edit in Notepad >> Add this entry >>

172.18.29.62 eo icesbc.karnataka.gov.in
