CHAPTER V
SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS
This chapter contains the summary of findings, the conclusions, and the
recommendations of our scientific investigatory project that were derived from the
analysis, and interpretation of the collected data.
Summary of Findings
The findings of this study are presented below based on the data gathered by the
researchers.
1. The fragrance of the menthol oil produced a range of scents in each sample.
2. The consistency of the essential oil got less and less slimy in each sample.
3. The color of the essential oil was dark green at the first sample but gradually got
lighter after two samples.
Conclusion
According to the study's findings, aloe vera has the potential to be used as an
ingredient in the production of menthol oil because it offers benefits such as a
moisturizing effect and anti-bacterial properties. However, since the researchers were
unable to turn aloe vera into an essential oil, it was not successful enough to become one.
The aloe vera was just extracted but wasn't turned into an essential oil. It mostly turned
into a menthol oil with moisturizing and antibacterial properties that the aloe vera and
oregano leaves gave.
Recommendations
Based on the data gathered, the researchers listed the following recommendations
for future researchers:
1. Future researchers are advised to use machinery that may actually help the process
of producing a proper essential oil.
2. In order to have adequate time and capacity to complete their studies, future
researchers are advised to be able to manage their time well.
3. To obtain a successful product after only a few tries, researchers should carefully
measure and conclude each product's amount so that no product is too many or too
few. This will save a large number of products from being wasted.
