A. Personal, Social, and Emotional Development (PSE): Matching dots
to numbers
Material Required: Number cards from 1 – 25
white/green board
white board marker pens, chalk
Procedure: Child to pick a number card and draw dots with help of marker
pens/chalk on the board matching to the number picked.After each child finish the
game, wipe and keep it ready for the next child .
B Communication and language Skills (CL) Vet at work
Material Required:
Various stuffed toy animals
Doctor set
Procedure:
Teacher to tell the children that the animals are feeling sick and have come for
treatment. Teacher to motivate the children to examine them, find out their problems,
and treat them so that they are well again. Teacher to make use of vocabulary like
„thermometer", „check temperature", „bandage the injured leg", „give medicine" etc.
C Physical development (PD) Maze – Help Mary find her lost puppy.
Material Required:
Maze Sheet
Felt Pen
Transparency sheet
Wet-Towel
Procedure:
Teacher to cover the maze sheet with a transparency (plastic sheet) and give the
children a felt pen and let the children do the maze. After each child does the maze
he/she has to erase that out with the wet towel provided and keep it ready for the next
child.

Number magic activity: Adding with play dough
Materials Required: Number pattern tiles 1-5 (20 sets distributed equally in baskets
on eachtable), 5 baskets (1 on each table), play dough boxes (2 on each table),
Numbercards 1-10 (5 sets distributed equally in trays on each table), Number Magic
cards 1-10(10 sets distributed equally in trays on each table), baskets (1 for each table),
trays (2 for each table)
Activity steps :
1.Have ready the play dough, number pattern tiles (1-5) distributed
equally in the baskets, Number cards (1-10) distributed equally in trays and
Number magic cards (1-10) distributed equally in trays.
2. All the tables to be set up.
3.Child to pick up two number pattern tiles from the basket and arrange
them together to make the tile pattern of their sum.
4. Child to roll small play dough balls and place in each of the combined holes of both
the tiles.
5.Child to then pick up the corresponding Number magic card or
Number card and keep beside the tiles.

Understanding the world
Understanding My World – Our Plant Kingdom: What plants need to
grow with Story- Rahul plants a seed.
Learning by doing: Planting a plant
Materials required: Paper cups, soil, soaked seeds, water.
Procedure:
1. Child to paint the paper cup of their choice
2. Fill the paper cup with soil.
3. Make a small hole in the soil and add few soaked seeds, fill again with some soil
4. Water the plant.

Teacher can do a graph at the end of each day.
Teacher to have three of the activities pictured at the bottom of a large sheet or
on board or white board. At the top to write "My favorite activity today was..."
along with the date. Teacher to have label sheets with each child's name. Each
child gets a label, and places it on the graph above the activity he/she enjoyed
the most. Teacher to place the graph on the flannel board for parents to view.
