Corel Draw is a versatile vector graphics editing software widely used in

illustration and layout design.
LOADING COREL DRAW
1. Click on the start menu or search bar and type “Corel Draw” to
find the application
2. Click on the Corel Draw icon to launch the program. The startup
screen will display, providing access to recent projects and
templates.
SAVING A COREL DRAW FILE
1. Click on the “File” menu and select “Save” or use the shortcut Ctrl
+S
2. Type the name of the document in the File name box
3. Click on Save

COREL DRAW TOOLS AND FUNCTIONS
The following are Corel Draw tools used to enhance the design process
1. Selection Tool: This tool is used to select, move and edit objects in
the drawing area.
2. Shape Tool: This tool allows you to create and modify (reshape)
basic shapes such as rectangles, circles and polygons.
3. Text tool: it can be used to add text to designs like title text, label
text or decorative text.
4. Pen Tools: The pen tool is used to create custom paths and
shapes, allowing more detailed and unique designs.
5. Fill and Outline Tools: this tool is used to apply colour, patterns
and outlines to objects.
6. Transform Tool: this tools is used to change the size, shape and
position of objects.
