SENIOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE - BIOLOGY

We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated individual to join our growing US Discovery
Biology team in Watertown, MA as the Senior Research Associate in Biology.

Position Overview: As the Senior Research Associate in Biology, you will play a crucial role in
conducting groundbreaking research, contributing to our mission of advancing scientific knowledge
and addressing pressing biological challenges. Working closely with our team of scientists, you will
be involved in various aspects of experimental design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of scientific discovery and make a
meaningful impact in the field of biology. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills to work
independently and advance your knowledge-base on assay development and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute experiments to investigate biological processes, mechanisms, or


phenomena.

• Perform laboratory techniques including but not limited to molecular biology, cell culture,
microscopy, and biochemical assays.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data using appropriate statistical methods and
software.

• Contribute to the development of research protocols, procedures, and methodologies.

• Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, observations, and results.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve research goals and objectives.

• Stay abreast of relevant scientific literature and incorporate new findings into research
projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's (2+ years experience after graduation) or Master's degree in Biology with 1+ years
of experience in Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field. PhD
candidates are also welcome to apply.

• Strong background in biological sciences with knowledge of relevant theoretical concepts
and experimental techniques.

• Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation and equipment.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research


environment.

• Prior research experience, including work in a laboratory setting, is highly desirable.
