WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having
solemny resolved to constitute India into a
(National Symbol) Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic
and to secure to all its citizens
 JUSTICE
Social, economics and political;
LIBERTY
of thought, expression, brief, faith and worship
EQUALITY
of status and of oppertunity; and to
promote among them all
 FATERNITY
assuring the diginity of the individual and
 the unit and integrity of the Nation
IN OUR CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY
this twenty-sixth day of November, 1949, do
HEREBY ADOBT, ENACT AND GIVE TO
 OURSELVES THUS CONSTITUTION
