Guide to EZ Cans

Created by kaewon (credits to plaboi for FTN.3 baffle design)

Follow your local laws. I am not responsible for what you do with this information.

The products listed don't have baffles and are just empty aluminum cans. There are lots of easy ways to
make suppressors but the point of this is buying legal products not on watch lists. I could go into pipes
and washers and simple hardware store items but the other main point was to highlight products that
are relatively cheap, may not require any work except printing baffles and don’t look like bubba
specials.

Many of these are 14mm threads but you can use tap and die on diy barrels and barrel liner builds can
print any thread you want. You can also print end caps with the correct thread or embed a thread
adapter in it. High temp filaments recommended.

If you want me to make end caps for you just let me know the dimensions and/or design or available
stl.

How to Remove End Caps

Many of the mock suppressors are sealed. I have not found an easy way that works on all of them as
they use different glues, epoxy or loctite. The most common suggested method is to boil it in water to
soften the adhesive. If this doesn’t work, others have suggested acetone but neither this nor mineral
spirits were successful with me.

I have also used more physical methods with strap wrenches, vice or pipe wrenches with pieces of
wood to not scar them. If you scar it, you can file and rattle can it to make it look factory. There are
spare replacement end caps for some of them. If all fails, cut or drill out the end caps and print new
ones.
List of Tested Cans
If you try cans that are not on the list, let me know so I can add them. There’s a ton to choose from but
I’d prefer if you let me know about cheaper ones that aren’t sealed.

I have seen small variations in size and finish even when bought from the exact same place so
dimensions may not be accurate.
