INSTRUCTIONS TO EXAMINERS
(Courses PY 1645, PY 1646, PY 1647) (2018 and 2020 Schemes)
Time of Examination: FN: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, AN: 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM (Friday AN: 2:00
PM to 5:00 PM
General Instructions
1. A candidate appearing for the examination must have certified bona fide record with
a minimum of 10 experiments, to attend the practical examinations, and no candidate
without the same shall be allowed to attend the examinations.
2. The candidate shall present the hard copy of the certified project report and tour report
submitted at the examination center for evaluation by the external examiners on the day
of examination.
3. Normally, no change in the questions given to a candidate shall be entertained. However,
if any change, as per the request of the candidate, is allowed, the matter shall be noted in
the answer book and 5 marks shall be deducted for the same.
4. If a student is unable to complete the experiment, due to reasons beyond his/her control
(due to power failure, malfunctioning of equipment’s etc.), he/she may be given a set of
ready-made readings for calculation, and an assessment of his/her knowledge and skill in
doing the experiment may be done. The matter shall be noted in the answer book.
5. The candidates can use non-programmable calculators. However, they shall write the
steps of calculation and substitution in the answer book.
6. If any practical examination/project assessment could not be conducted due to unforeseen
reasons, the same shall be conducted by the same examiners, on the working day
following the last session of examinations in the college. The matter shall be intimated to
the chairman, in advance.

MARKS SHEETS, ATTENDANCE STATEMENTS, ANSWER BOOKS AND BILLS
1. The hard copy of mark sheets, attendance statements and answer books duly signed by
both examiners should be sent by registered/speed post to the Chairman immediately on
completion of exams.
2. In the case of shifting of students among batches owing to internal arrangements at a centre
with prior permission, the register number of students in a particular mark list shall be in
sequential order. Also make sure that a candidate appearing the examination as per a
realotted schedule is not marked as ABSENT in any of the attendance statement or mark
list related to the centre and instead the details of the rearrangement shall be specified
against his/her candidate code.
3. a. Remuneration bill and (b) TA/DA bill duly filled in and signed, and (c) work
statements shall also compulsorily be sent to Chairman along with the mark list and other
documents.
b. Beneficiary ID and PAN Number number shall be written on top of the TA and
remuneration bills.
c. Work done statement shall be filled correctly.
d. In the remuneration bill, prescribing, registered, examined and No. of records valued
shall be entered.
e. Wherever, signature and name of examiner are required, the same shall be completed.
