Why Did the Spirit of God Lead Jesus into the Wilderness (Matt 4:1)?
Jesus was led into the wilderness by the Spirit of God, where he was tempted by the
devil, according to the first verse of the story of temptation. This is a perplexing claim
because Jesus was baptized with the Spirit of God, who was just mentioned in Matthew
3:16. It is implied that Jesus was more than just a second Moses who repeated what
Moses had done; in order for Israel to win, he also had to cover the ground where they
had walked. Jesus spent forty days in the desert under the guidance of the Spirit of God,
experiencing what Israel had gone through for forty years. When Satan demanded that
Jesus demonstrate his divine sonship by transforming stones into bread during the first
temptation, Jesus' response is proof that this conclusion is correct. The context of
Deuteronomy 8, which lies between the Decalogue's proclamation and the report on the
rewriting of the two tablets of the Decalogue, was mentioned by Jesus in reference to
Deuteronomy 8:3. The Israelites were given a test to worship one god but they failed
that's why Jesus took the place and he did it. Jesus went to Israel to cleanse us of the sins
we committed. He was given a challenge by the holy spirit so that Jesus could prove that
wrongdoings can be avoided and we can be good in all things. He also showed love and
followed God wholeheartedly. Jesus succeeded with the help of prayer and obeying the
duties given to him, trials did not hinder him because of God's help and he became
stronger in each of his journeys.
What is the article all about?
The purpose of this article is to show stability in life, always be obedient with all your
heart and will not join the evil given by other people, always be strong in whatever life
presents you and always put your whole heart and soul to our dear lord.
Agreement
I agree with God's commandments because this is the only way we can find the way to a
good life, also the reason why Jesus traveled to the forest just to show him the discipline
we need in our lives, so we should always think that God is with us in whatever we are
ready to face in life, we will be strong and we will be more disciplined if we just follow
God's command with our heart and soul.
Disagreement
I don't agree with letting Jesus go to Israel so that he could experience the punishments
that he gave because of the people in Israel who worshiped a god that they had to
worship.
Temptation of Jesus (Matthew 4:1)
Jesus was tested if he was tempted by Satan by going to Israel, Because of the name
"Spirit of God" which is said in 3:16 and coming down from heaven to be baptized. To
know if he would be tempted, the Spirit of God led him to the desert for 40 days. For
those who experienced the Israelites for 40 days. The first temptation that Satan gave was
if he was really the son of God he would turn the stone he gave into bread if he was really
hungry. Jesus' answer was: "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that
proceeds from the mouth of God". He returned to Israel full of experience in the
wilderness and said All the commandments that I command you today you must keep and
do, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land that the Lord has given
you. The Lord swore to give it to your fathers. You shall remember all the ways in which
the Lord your God led you in the wilderness these forty years, to humble you, to test you,
to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not. He
humbled you and let you hunger, and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor
did your fathers know, that he might make you understand that man does not live by
bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. Your clothes did
not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. Therefore you shall know
in your heart that the Lord your God disciplines you, as a man disciplines his son.
Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in his ways
and to fear him.” The temptation that is narrated for Jesus the widow of Israel. Even
though it was difficult, he still loved the father of us all by satisfying our physical needs,
emotional desires, and rational thinking. He is the only one who did this so that our sins
would disappear.
What is the article all about?
It is about rejecting temptations to do evil things that other people will give you. There
will always be challenges in our lives and we just need to be strong and pray.
Agreement
I agree with what happened to Jesus whether he would give in to temptation or not
because many people are easily tempted but didn't Jesus just give in to temptation with
anything that happened to him.
Disagreement
I don't agree with the lives that happened to Jesus, that he did everything for people who
were only brought into their lives by temptation. Things are happening more and more in
a world full of temptations and those who cleansed our sins in this world are also having
a hard time.
What’s the New Birth?
The "new birth" describes the origin of Christianity. Christians also suggest that this is
the possession of a new humanity. It is the work of the Holy Spirit in their nature. The
new birth is a transformation. Those who accept the invitation in their spirit must
surrender their hearts to Christ to experience the mystery of the new birth. Sometimes the
place that can be in the center of human nature is powerful and mysterious. Our lives can
be new. The new birth is a new beginning of the Christian life. Most importantly, the
Holy Spirit enters our minds and wills, bringing us peace and putting an end to our hatred
of God. The spirit gives us strength because of the new creation that controls us with the
love of the Lord. And we are not selfish in our character that only lives in the flesh and in
the heart. We are regenerated day by day into the likeness of our Savior. The values and
beauty of heaven should now be reflected in our daily lives, which are guided by the
principles that the Spirit has placed in our hearts. Every day, we are renewed in the image
of our Savior. "I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them," is what
God has promised.
What is the article all about?
This article is about the newborn and the mysterious nature of our existence. It places the
powers of the spirit in new birth that give them the power to control how to love and
where it comes from. We are freer when we are newborns. We are given the free
enslaving power of sin. Although this is a mystical experience in which we lose our
consciousness and individuality.
Agreement
I agree that the newborn has a power that will give us freedom in what we do in
life because it gives us a great blessing that we receive when we open our eyes to
the new birth.
Disagreement
I disagree with the miracle that sometimes happens to newborns because of their
weak resistance and lack of support, but it is also because of the help of the spirit
and the love of Christ that the lives of newborns become better.
Why Did Jesus Die? How God Save Us
The final close witness to Christ's ministry, John, died as the first century of the Christian
era came to an end, and long-held assumptions started to shift: Who was Jesus? What led
him to arrive? What killed him? These questions were addressed by a variety of biblical
metaphors, such as the Light of the world, the conquering King of kings, and the atoning
Lamb of God, which atones for all of humanity's sins. Jesus was viewed as the Son of
God, a heavenly messenger, and a cosmic deliverer. But also identifying with us as the
Son of Man. There is a very telling lie about the idea of the ransom. Jesus said: “The Son
of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
And this resonated with him. Peter said: “You know that you were redeemed from the
futile ways inherited from your parents, not with perishable things like silver or gold, but
with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.” The idea
of the ransom was very common in the ancient world. The world dictated things by value
and used it to buy something back from a pawnshop. This referred to buying the freedom
of a slave. Along the way, Jesus freed us from the bonds of sin and paid our ransom. He
demonstrated God's love along the journey. But there's a lot more. Real comprehension
occurs when we realize how dire our sin problem is and how God must handle the
rebellion that is raging throughout His universe.
What is the article all about?
This article is about the death of Jesus and our salvation. Because he gave us the
forgiveness of sins and gave us the love we need to achieve it. God's love has no limits,
all the Lord wants is for us to love him with all our hearts and without doubt. He saved us
from danger and showed us that there is still hope if they listen and pray to the Lord.
Agreement
I agree with what Jesus did that they saved us from disasters and cleansed our sins. Even
though people had many sins, Jesus still continued to save us and he did not hesitate to do
that. What he did was very important and we will never forget it, that is why we must
follow our beloved Lord so that we can be safe from disasters.
Disagreement
I don't agree with what people did to Jesus, even though he was suffering, none of them
helped him and they didn't let what was happening happen because of their greed and
selfishness. They didn't see what Jesus did to help people who were hurting.
Jesus’ Family Ties
Jesus had brothers and sisters, but no one knows who his brothers were. The belief in
Mary's permanent virginity has led to issues concerning Jesus' "brothers" and "sisters" in
the Roman Catholic tradition. The phrase "brothers of Jesus" can refer to the offspring of
Joseph and Mary, according to certain interpretations, but it can also allude to a close
relative, like Mary, Cleopas's wife. Since Jesus' step brothers repeatedly attempted to
manipulate him, it has been claimed that they are older than Jesus. It is not stated in the
New Testament that the "brothers of Jesus" were "sons of Mary," and the phrase
"firstborn" does not suggest that Mary had any other children. The fact that Joseph
refrained from engaging in sexual activity with Mary till after the birth of Jesus does not
imply that she had further children. The matter is not fully addressed by the way the word
"brother" is used in Greek literature.
What is the article all about?
This article points out that not only does he have a brother, he also has a sister, but the
word brother is often used by fathers and mothers, perhaps because it is like a
stepbrother. In many places, the word brother is considered a high class person, so this is
a possibility.
Agreement
I agree with what this author did because he explained what the word brother really
means. Because there are many different meanings since it can be used for anything like a
close sibling or what others call a stepbrother.
Disagree
ment
I disagree with the topic that they are a bit confused about because they don't really
know what a brother is. If they knew its true importance, they would also know
what its true meaning is.
