Dear Parents,

Summer holidays are around the corner Despite


the hot sun we can still have a lot of fun, so
vacation is here for a sweet treat. In order to
enhance the children's creativity and innovation
for the progressive learning, Cambridge
International School has designed a few engaging
activities and holiday homework. Help your
children to do it.

The activities to be done during the holidays are


divided into 4 sections, from traditional sports to
weather, farming will also be known.

 Children should not watch TV, mobile while eating food


during holidays. Fasting (not using) mobile for one day.
 Ask grandparents, parents, which sweets were made in their
marriage. children will learn a lot from such activities while
staying at home.

 Section-A: Students Will remember 10 mobile numbers of


family members.

 Section-B: Spices in the Kitchen , touch and smell.

 Section -C: Making a family tree by asking grandparents.


Where did the family come from, pressing the feet of
grandparents, maternal grandparents, play with them ,
Height and weight of family members will also be measured.
 Section-D: Photographs of players to be collected from
newspapers or magazines learn their names and paste it in
your Scrapbook.

• Memorising a prayer, hymn, word or religious song and 5 jokes.

• Students will have to learn 3 riddles by asking children of his age,


Will learn about 3 traditional games, Will write about the name,
number, size, metal and use of kitchen utensils, will write the names
of spices, pulses and other food items, will see , touch and smell
them.
• Learn to wash, dry, press and save clothes, cut vegetables.
• By collecting pictures of players from newspapers, and paste it in
your scrap book.
• Students will keep a record of one month's oil of the scooter, car,
bike that runs daily.
• Playing Snakes & Ladders, Ludo, Carrom etc.
• Give details of the trip. Visit post office, bank, bus stand, railway
station, vegetable market.
• Viewing old calendars, counting how many Sundays and holidays
have come.
• Remembering the name of Sarpanch, MLA, Sports Minister, CM,
PM, Governor, President.
• Measuring height and weight of family members.
 Arrangement of grains and water for the birds.
• Which sweets were made in the marriage of grandparents,
then what was the price of gold, milk, silver and sugar.
 Make a video of the discussion.
English
Reading -
Read the passages given in English grammar book and answer the
given questions Assignment 1 to 6 (P.no. 1727) and Assignment (1
to 6) (P.no. 41 to 51)
Read story "How to be a thief" and "Silver Heart" and find out very
short outlines of these two stories

Writing Skill
Write a descriptive essay (around 150200 words) on a topic "A place
I visited" or "A person I admire"
Solve assignment (1 to 6) (P.no 97 to 107)
Write homophones (1 to 26), synonyms (1 to 50), antonyms (1 to
40), one word for a group (1 to 36)

Grammar Task
Identify and correct errors in a given passage related to grammar
and fill in the gaps with one or two words (P.no 221 & 222)
Solve the given worksheet

Creative Writing
Create a comic strip on a topic like a social issue, a historical event,
or a scientific concept (Roll no. _)

Other Activities
Design a poster on Importance of Cleanliness
Books are our best friends (Roll no. _)
Word Search Create a word search puzzle using vocabulary related
to a specific theme (e.g., Travel, War, Food, Sports, Books)

Speaking Task
Prepare a short 2 minutes speech on any of the following:
