In hydrogen the company has a diverse portfolio with product lineups
including Electrolysers, Hydrogen Refueling stations and other
integrated solutions. Also, they serve different industry that deals with
H2 production, renewable energy and mobility solutions.
3. Defense
Their Defense wing provides different weapon systems for high mobility
armored vehicles. They also provide simulation-based training
equipment’s, along with security systems like Drones, biometric access
managements
4. Industry
Improving performance for a sustainable industry in Metals, Heat
Treatment and surface treatments.
5. Environment
They provide solutions for water treatments, air pollution control and
odor treatments, along with thermal treatment of solids and
infrastructure-based solutions.

Project management
John Cockerill Services carries out for its clients, projects to replace or
renovate major components on nuclear sites. Its mission involves the
execution of large projects allied to maintaining nuclear safety and
increasing the lifespan of power plants. A service made possible by our
combined expertise in the domains of:
Turning machines;
Machining on site and in workshop, and manufacture;
Conception, engineering and realization;
Boilermaking, pipework, welding;
John Cockerill Services also designs and supplies the false tank covers
used during partial shutdown.
Nuclear Pipework Management
the capacity to manage all nuclear valve and pipework maintenance
operations, whether preventive, curative or conditioning maintenance,
within the context of contracts with results obligation.
Services offers different types of multi-year contract for reactors of type
(900 MW, 1300 MW or 1450 MW. Its teams can intervene, whatever
type of shutdown is scheduled (simple refueling halt, partial visit or ten-
year visit).
Theyoffer a wide range of services:
Management of all spare parts
Identification and follow-up of logistics requirements
Sequencing of the activities considering the safety, security and time
requirements imposed
Integration of technical support to the customer’s teams for the
completion of maintenance records
Revision and optimization of dosimetry put into play by the pipework’s
Execution of valve material appraisals
Proposals for dealing with technical contingencies

We are a recognized partner of EDF with agreements.
Opening and Closing of Nuclear reactor tanks.
A tank opening/closure with partial shutdown consists of placing the
tank cover in order to enable refueling and to carry out mechanical and
pipework maintenance operations on the whole of the installations in
partial shutdown.
John Cockerill Services has developed specific expertise in tank opening
and closure operations whatever the planned shutdown may be (simple
refueling shutdown, partial or 10-year inspection):
Interventions on reactors of type 900 MW – 1300 MW
Provision of personnel expert in TVI: televisual inspections
Complementary skills used in bolted assembly.
Assistance to EDF in the progress approach (safety, security…) by
proposing the study, conception and delivery of specific equipment
dedicated to tank opening/closure
Processing of equipment and of active or contaminated waste
designs and manufactures processing equipment to guarantee safety
during the evacuation and treatment of active or contaminated waste.
The processing of activated or contaminated parts consists of removing
the parts from a nuclear zone, while guaranteeing the protection of the
environment and the personnel, through confinement in a hermetically
sealed area and control of radioactive radiation.
