Useage instructions:
1. Write down the text you want to encipher (this is called the plaintext).
2. Choose a 'key' or 'shift', the number of letters the alphabet will be shifted by. E.g. with a shift of 1,
A becomes B.
3. Rotate the front disc until the chosen shift is set, the shift number will appear in the 'key' window.
4. For each letter of your plaintext, write down the letter on the inner ring corresponding to the letter
of plaintext on the outer ring. This is your ciphertext!
5. Remember to record your key! Either as the shift number or as A = B. You'll need this to decode
your ciphertext or use as a clue.

Back disc
Assembly instructions:
1. Print out these two pages on card stock
2. Cut out the back disc by cutting along the oustide of the circle
3. Cut out the front disc (on next page) by cutting along the oustide of the circle
4. Cut out the grey 'key' window on the front disc with an exacto knife or similar
5. Put the front disc face up on the back disc
6. Align front and back discs centrally, then use a paper fastner (brad, split pin) to join them
together
