HOUSEKEEPING RULES

Lights, Air Conditions and Electronic Devices/Appliances


 Ensure all lights, air conditioning and electronic/appliances are turned off /unplug
at the end of the workday.
 All split-type air conditioners should be set to the same temperature to ensure
consistent cooling throughout the office. If the temperature feels to cold,
employees are encouraged to wear a jacket instead of adjusting the settings or
better turn off the unit in your areas.

Cleanliness and Organization

 Keep your workstation neat and clutter-free.


 Organize files, papers, and office supplies after use.
 Throw away trash, clean dishes and wipe down any tables or counters that you
use during breaks.
 Dishes and eating utensils should be washed and not kept unattended.
 Regularly removed or throw away unused or unnecessary items for a clean
environment and walkway clearance.
 Make sure to flush toilets after using. Avoid flushing sanitary napkins and tissues
or other objects down the toilets.

Trash Disposal

 Always place trash inside the appropriate bins—do not leave it on desks or
common areas.
 Use designated bins (green) for bio-degradable (nabubulok) and non-
biodegradable (hindi nabubulok) waste located at the kitchen.

Noise Control

 Avoid loud laughter, unnecessary noise, or disruptive discussions in shared


spaces.
 Wear headphones or earphones when listening audios, watching videos or
attending virtual meetings.
 Keep the volume low to avoid sound leakage that may disturb others, even
during lunch breaks.
 If someone is being too loud, politely remind them of the noise control rules.

Safety and Security


 Lock office doors, when the last to leave the mezzanine area, administrative
area, separation area and information management section area.
 Ensure only authorized personnel and visitors are allowed during regular office
hours and beyond office hours.
 Do not leave personal belongings, bags or office supplies in walkways or
pathways to prevent obstructions.
 Coordinate with Administrative Services staff for the use of Director’s Office, and
Library Room for meetings

Food inside the Refrigerator

 Label all food and do not take food that does not belong to you.
 Be mindful of shared spaces and keep airtight containers to prevent spills and
odors.
 Wipe any spills immediately to maintain cleanliness.
 Discard expired or spoiled food immediately. Food inside the refrigerator will be
discarded every Friday.
