This visa is a visa C for a family member of a EU Citizen that has made or will make use of his/her
mobility right within Schengen Area (e.g: a Romanian living in Belgium, an Italian wanting to visit Belgium,
a Greek about to get married in Belgium, etc.)

If the purpose is to join the spouse’s family in Belgium:
Proof of family ties: official copy of marriage certificate or cohabitation,
issued less than 6 months (unless digitally signed by an Indonesian

If issued in Indonesia: Buku Nikah or its legalized copy (for muslims) or
Kutipan Akte Pernikahan (for other religions). The document has to be
legalized (Apostille) by KEMENKUMHAM.
If the purpose is for a marriage or a legal cohabitation in Belgium:

I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT:
- All copies has to be printed on A4 papers;
- My passport will be kept for the duration of the visa processing time;
- The documents have to be presented in either Dutch, French, German, or English. If in
another language, they have to be translated by a sworn translator;
- Additional documents may be requested;
- My application will only be eligible for processing when the submitted file is complete;
- The visa processing time normally takes about 3 weeks;
- Original documents will be restituted at end of procedure.

FOR MINORS, a separate application is needed with all listed documents (except marriage
certificate) + Kutipan Akte Kelahiran and its translation with Apostille.
If the child is from a previous partnership, additional document is to be submitted:
- if shared custody: an original official and legalized letter of consent from the other parent
- if sole custody: a legal and legalized document of sole custody.
