Common Instructions
We must pay our special attention on the following matters because a fruitful and
Qualitative pirivena depends on efficiency and dedication of the teacher.
02. When attending and departing, Put your signature with number and exact time in
Attendance Register.
03. Class teachers must participate in religious activities, remaining in the relevant class
before commencing the pirivena.
06. Must remain at the class in last period until students finish reciting religious verses.

discipline and cleaning in your class.
08. You must prepare plans and implement in order to access to a higher competency level
, educationally in your responsible subject field.
09. Must prepare necessary plans and implement to increase the number of students and
access to higher competency level ,educationally.
11. You must use your off periods when the subject teacher is absent.
12. When you take casual leaves you must get the approval submitting an appropriate
format a week before to the leave date. If take a medical leave you must inform soon by a
telephone call and confirm by a telegram. as soon as you return for duty submit a formal
leave form ( If take more than two days as medical leave , must produce a medical
certificate taken from a nearest Government medical officer or a private doctor who has
been registered under Aurvedic act/Medical ordinance)
13. Teach focusing to the aims and objectives of pirivena education with text
14. Must implement an assessment bank. give the students assignments related to the
relevant subjects on the days of leave and complete them once a week, having entered
them in an assignment book on class wise.

16. Make student assessments compulsorily and enter their marks in relevant marks report
, and Must produce monthly average marks report.
17. Must Involve in teaching without considering the number of students in the class.
19. Must cover up the syllabus for students those who are scheduled to appear for the
government and public examinations.
20. Prepare a student progressive report and discuss compulsorily in the staff meeting held
on a proposed day in last week of the month, once.

pirivena according to pirivena education act 1979/ 64 and pirivena orders of 1980 /01 and
instructions and circulars issued by Ministry of education time to time ,as well as
instructions of my employer, authorized priest and head priest of pirivena.

After having taken the approval from Director of education (pirivena) of education
ministry, Regarding the affairs that want to get done from education department and zonal
education office, could inquire from The coordinator of pirivena education thero.
The copies of requesting letters, applications, time tables, agreements, handing and taking
over duty letters etc. should be signed and placed official stamp. and should not give their
photocopies. If they want, after having taken a copy, it is not a fault to sign it and place
stamp.
Copies of all certificates which are submitted must get certified from Ass. Director of
education (pirivena ) thero. For that, must produce originals of certificates much as
possible.
It is better that all documents without official register formats and certificates are
submitted on a computer printed letter head.

Those monks should be healthy and have concepts of a monk. Two sets of copies of the
following each documents should be handed over to Ass. Director of education (pirivena)
priest and keep a log entry.
