Text Books:
“Introduction to Electric Circuits”, Richard C. Dorf and James A. Svoboda, Wiley, 9th Ed, 2014,
including Wiley plus Learning Management System.

Pre-requisites: EE 201 and MATH 107

Course Objectives: To clearly understand the basic concepts of dependent electrical sources, two-
port circuits, frequency selective circuits and filters of different types, circuits containing mutual
inductance, transformers, diodes and Op-Amps. The course also addresses the concepts of transient
response of first and second order circuit.

Attendance Policy: Any student who is absent for more than 25% of lectures and tutorials will not be
allowed to appear in the final exam. This policy will be strictly enforced without any exceptions.

Evaluation:
Two Mid-Term Exams 40%
Tutorials, H.W. and Quizzes 15%
Attendance & Participation 5%
Final Exam (25 December 2023 – 1:00 pm) 40%
Total 100%
