Note: The levels of study and qualifications stated above are as per National

Re-entry: Re-entry refers to the process of entry into the next level of study
by a student already enrolled in a programme of study of the University or its
colleges, who exited after completion of the preceding level of study.
B, Multiple Exit
‘The Multiple Entry and Exit Scheme is required to be implemented as part
of NEP 2020. Accordingly, UGCF, 2022 provides multiple exist(s) at the
end of every even semester in line with the guidelines provided by UGC in
this regard.
@ After successful completion of Semester II (Eamed 44 mandatory
credits), a student can exit with an Undergraduate Certificate (in the
field Study/Discipline).
(i) After successful completion of Semester IV (Eamed 88 mandatory
credits), a student can exit with an Undergraduate Diploma (in the field
Study/Discipline).
(iii) After successful completion of Semester VI (Eamed 132 mandatory
credits), a student can exit with a degree/honours degree, depending
upon the programme he/she chooses to study.
(iv) After successful completion of Semester VIII (Earned 176
mandatory credits), a student can exit with honours/ honours with
research’ honours with entrepreneurship, depending upon the
programme and choice of the student.

2Student should apply well in advance for exit before the start of the
next academic session.
Note: Ifa student discontinues the programme in between an academic
cexcion rather than at the end of such academic year, he/ she shall be
awarded the relevant qualification, as stated at (i) fo (iv), achieved so
far by the student.
C. Re-entry allowed in the same College and same Programme

Students are allowed re-entry into the same programme of study in
ich he/she has been enrolled, after exiting in between the Four Year
Undergraduate Programme in the following manner.
Credits eared shall be valid for redemption for a maximum duration of
7 years.
