The system utilizes a combination of | selectively deployable skins and fans to ereate and costo] low-pressure regions beneath the vehicle, thereby increasing tire prip and vehicle performance. This system seeks 10 address the limitations of existing povvered aerodynamic solutions by providing adaptable configurations that can be ‘modified for different driving scenarios, fom smooth seaightlive aeceleration to dynamie driving over varying ‘nat Teast one example, the vehile aerodynamic system inckades« plurality of fans positioned in airflow pathways, 4 plurality of selectively deployable skins configured 10 interact with the ground surfoce, and a control system that ‘manages the operation of both the fans and skits. The 2 system can be configured to operate in multiple modes, each ‘oplimized for specific driving conditions and perlonmance requirements. “The system operates by erating bounded (eg, sealed or partaly-sealed) regions beneath the vehicle through the Selective deployment of skins that interoet with the ground surface. Fans positioned in airflow pathways that extend to these bounded regions generate low pressure within these areas by extracting ai, ereating, downforce that enhances vehicle grip and stability (eg., by creating a vacuum, or partial vacuum inthe bounded regions). The control system ‘manages the transition between diferent operating modes by adjusting skirt deployment and) fan operation based on 12 nipate changes in operating conditions. For example, the system ean predict approaching varying terrain and prepare appropriate mode transition. In some examples, the fan assembly system 520 may include central fans 522 equipped with motors for down force generation in the first mode, and outboard fans 24 ‘with capabilities optimized for the second operating mode. In some examples, each fan incorporates variable blade ‘mechanisms and PWM control interfaces opening at 12-bit resolution and 25 kHz for precise aiflow control ‘The airflow pathway system 526 comprises central path sways that extend into the bounded region and outboard pathways positioned toward the vehicle sides, wth convera- ing-divenging sections having arca ratios between 12:1 ad 2:1 to optimize low characterises, In some examples, the skin deployment system $28 ‘manapes thee distinet mechanisms: side skins §30, fro! rear skins 832, and central skirts 534. Each mechanism incorporates hinge assemblies or extension mechanisms for deployment conto, position sensors for accurate feedback, and actuators for precise movement. The system enables both fall deployment for downforce generation and partial deployinent for itermediate operating consitions "The monitoring and feedback system 536 incomporates ‘various sensors including pressure monitors $38 that mea- sure conditions Withia the bounded regions, perfomance ‘monitors S40 that teack fan motor current deaw and skit position accuracy, and a fault detector $42 that idemifies sensor failures and mechanical issues ‘The system implements multiple connection flows.
