Synthetic Court Specifications
1 SPECIFICATIONS
The synthetic grass carpet on the courts will be replaced, for which the grass must be removed.

surface pressure equipment of the plate including scraper. On the already prepared plate, the will be applied.
emulsion (primer). Synthetic grass will be installed on this existing asphalt surface.
The Contractor will dismantle the synthetic grass and subsequently collect it to an officially certified dump.
The Contractor must clean and remove any waste, garbage, and leftover materials that remain in the
surface base after the grass removal.
After the demolition of the existing slab, the drainage will be constructed, which will be of the surface bed type.
filter (according to the indications of the Chapter on Hydrosanitary Networks). The dimensions of the structures
they must respect those indicated in the plans and from the beginning, the subgrade will be left shaped with a
pending at 1.0%, while the surface of the gravel and sand will be left at 0.5%, towards the drains
divided into two (2) waters. The synthetic grass will be installed on this bed.
The Contractor will conduct soil bed tests on the surface that is intended to be covered with grass.
synthetic. These tests must provide the following information:
These results will be coordinated with the requirements required for synthetic turf and will be made
necessary adjustments to ensure the overall stability of the grass and its proper functioning.
From this coordination, the reports will be produced, in which the proposed structure is accepted for the
support of synthetic grass and guarantee its durability and good performance.
Without this requirement, no construction process will continue, and only the SDR-SIDR in charge.
The Undersecretary of Sports and Recreational Infrastructure will determine the processes to be followed.
The Contractor must clean and remove all organic materials, trash from the subgrade layer,
punching materials, as well as materials that do not allow compaction.
Once the surface has been excavated and stripped, the Contractor will compact the subgrade for which
will use non-vibrating machinery.
The soil will be compacted in both directions to achieve the established compaction level, as indicated.
the study and the Soil Engineer.
The floor bed must have a minimum slope of 1%, depending on the soil analysis from the
longitudinal center of the field towards the sides.
Likewise, it must be prepared to tolerate no more than 0.6 cm over a distance of 3.0 m in height.

The use of a geotextile may be required to cover the soil bed, depending on the results of the analysis.

The base at 100% of the modified proctor and subbase at 98% of the modified proctor must comply with the
Recommended specifications. The finished base and subbase must be stable and permeable.
If the required compaction depth of the base exceeds 15 cm, the base will be constructed in two (2) layers.

Each layer must be compacted in both directions to achieve the indicated compactness coefficient.

The base must have a slope of 0.5% from the central longitudinal axis towards the sides, or as specified.

The surface of the finished base will not vary from the specified slope by more than 0.5 cm in a
distance of 3.0 m measured in any direction.
The application of this emulsion on the asphalt base plate allows that, during the installation of the
grass carpets, do not disturb the gravel and lose the grade of it. Nothing should be installed.

certified by the Manufacturer, so that the SDR - SIDR has an immediate response in case of
requirement about the product.
This corresponds to the dismantling and removal of the existing nylon mesh enclosure, which is in poor condition, and
subsequent supply, transportation, and installation of new nylon protective mesh, placed around the perimeter and
on top of the synthetic field to prevent the balls from leaving the interior of the court.
Note 1: The contractor must deliver the court enclosure with nylon mesh according to the
specifications described in that item as indicated in the budget. In the same way, you must deliver the
technical sheet of the thread to ensure its quality where it specifies: manufacturing thread,
resistance at the height of each thread, break resistance, elongation at break, color, and twist. In a way
that the lifespan of the mesh is guaranteed by knowing its tenacity and resistance to weathering effects.
