2.1 India’s First Wildlife-Safe Road

● Introduced on NH-45

● It aims to reduce animal-vehicle collisions while ensuring smooth road connectivity

through forest corridors.


● The National Highway 45 (NH 45) in India starts near Obaidullaganj (Madhya Pradesh)

and ends near Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh).


● NHAI motto : Not Just Roads, Building a Nation.

DYK: The most distinctive feature of this project is the introduction of ‘table-top red
road marking’s first in India.
2.2 World’s first Leader to Receive Ethiopia’s top award

● Name: Narendra Modi (Prime Minister of India)

● Name of the award: The Great Honour Nishan of Ethiopia

● The award is given for exceptional contributions in strengthening Ethiopia’s international

partnerships and global standing.


● He also became the first Indian leader to receive Oman’s highest national honour (The

First Class of the Order of Oman).


2.3 Parliament passes the SHANTI Bill
● The Bill introduces graded liability caps to attract smaller investors while ensuring full

compensation through government-backed mechanisms if damage exceeds operator

3.2 First Country to Get UNESCO Recognition for Its National Cuisine

● UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List recognises traditions, practices, and

● Italy has a total of 21 elements on UNESCO’s intangible heritage list, including the art of

3.3 World’s first wheelchair user to travel to space

● She will fly aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket on the upcoming NS-37 suborbital

4.1 First Indian State to Fully Digitise Voter Rolls Under SIR
● State : Rajasthan

● What is SIR (Special Intensive Revision) ?

○ It’s a periodic electoral exercise undertaken by the Election Commission of India

(ECI) to update, correct, and enhance the accuracy of voter lists.

5.1 Operation Sagar Bandhu

● It’s a humanitarian mission launched by India’s to assist Sri Lanka in the aftermath of

Cyclone Ditwah.
● The Indian Navy dispatched four additional ships to reinforce the ongoing relief effort,

● These vessels are carrying nearly 1,000 metric tons of humanitarian aid.

5.2 Commissioning of INAS 335 (Ospreys)
