She is a versatile artist and enjoys working in both traditional and digital mediums. Her latest passion is illustrating with soft pastels, which provide her with a wide range of colours and allow her to play with textures. Maja has illustrated over 20 children’s books published in South Africa and abroad, and she has received 4 illustration awards for her work. Maja’s other interests are photography, painting and ceramics. She loves taking close up photographs of nature, which feed her creativity and imagination.view less
