Types of autism
1. Classic autism -most severe of the different autism slow language development,
have difficulties talking with other people, or have a deep lack of attention with other
people. People with classic autism types have a strong desire for the same routines,
muteness, high levels of vision spatial skills, and most important learning difficulties in
other areas.
2. Asperger syndrome
impairment in language and communication skills.
show a variety of characteristics and the disorders can range from mild to severe.
show deficiencies in social skills and cannot manage transitions or changes.
They have difficulties in other people reading body language, low sensitivity to pain but
high sensitivity to bright lights and laud noises.
3. Rett syndrome Girls syndrome

Scope of design
School for Autistic children is a place where the school strives to solve the
disorder of neural development characterized by impaired social
interaction and with repeated stereo typed behaviour.
9 MILLION
The students affected by Autism can then perform
better in their future
and they will feel ease to socialize with society around them.

A radical approach to the space which they get educated and live (such as
interaction room, therapy room, etc...) will give them a different view
point to come out of the shell they are inclined with.

OBJECTIVE OF STUDY
The objectives of the study are:
I. To study the essence of children's play experience
2. To study autistic children's psychological need and
response to play

3. To investigate into the theory and method
of play therapy
4. To formulate the design criteria of an environment
facilitate play therapy

Requirement:
