Direct investment should be
the Focus
• According to me countries should
focuses on the direct investment
because whenever direct
investment made into the country
it increases employment
opportunities, increase production
in the country, increase its GDP and
is always made for the long term
purpose.

Exchange rate Volatility
• In East Asia Hong Kong is using fixed
exchange rate. China has shown least
volatility in the exchange rate whereas
Mongolia shown the highest.
• In southeast Asia Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao,
Viet Nam are very low rated countries
there exchange rate with the US $ is very
low.
• Countries in South Asia are better than
other Asia as there exchange rate against
US $ in not more than 100 bugs of any
country.
• In Central Asia high amount of volatility isAns-12
Country which would yield
maximum return in portfolio
investment
• Country which would be having low
volatility in the exchange rate and
country which would be able to
attract large number of FII from the
foreign market and according to me
India and China are the 2 market
for the maximum return.

Exports with other countries
• India’s position in 2000-05 was 8th in
the world, in 2006 it went upto 7th
and in 2007 it is 6th in the world. So
India’s position is improving in the
world exports and its exports are
also increasing.
• India’s share is also increased from
0.7 in 2000-05 to 1.1 in 2007 in the
total of whole world.

Trading position in India
• In 2001 to 2003 major dealing was
concentrated with the US and very
limited countries were there with
whom India was doing trading but
after 2005 India’s trade was
distributed to other countries as
well and trade with US went down
in the % share of India’s trade.
