Introduction to Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is distributed computing over the internet or delivery of computing services via the internet. It allows users to access software, storage, and other computing resources remotely through a web browser instead of locally on their own computers. Some examples include email services like Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo Mail which store users' accounts and data on remote servers accessed online rather than locally. The concept of cloud computing evolved as early as the 1950s but commercial applications emerged in the 2000s with the growth of the internet.
