Can you spot the modals in this text?
British summertime does not always live up to our
expectations. Although it should be sunny most of the
time, it would not be wise to assume that it definitely
will be. It might be sunny, but it could also be rainy,
windy or very cold – in August! British summertime
may not always mean days filled with sunshine.
Before leaving the house, it would probably be best to
check the weather forecast – you might need to take
a coat!
