• It is a multinational software corporation that creates enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations. It was founded in 1972
by five former IBM employees in Germany. Initially, it focused on developing standard application software for real-time data processing. Over the
years, SAP has grown into one of the world's largest software companies, providing a wide range of enterprise software solutions to businesses of all
sizes and industries.
• SAP software is used in businesses because it provides a comprehensive suite of solutions that help organizations manage their operations effectively,
adapt to changing market dynamics, and drive growth and profitability.
• SAP headquarters in Walldorf in Germany. In world wide SAP is already implemented in 256 countries out of which 300+.
