What is interdependency?
COMPLEX INTERDEPENDENCY
The concept is championed by Liberalist scholars Robert Keohane and Joseph Nye
in their book: “Power and Interdependence” (1977)
[Link] Channels Connect Societes : apart from govt-to-govt
interactions, there exists “transgovernmental” and “transnational” relations.
2. There is No Clear Heirarchy : security is not always the most important
agenda, other issues are also important.
3. Military is often not considered a viable tool of policy : in dealings
that have little to do with security, use of military force is considered
inappropriate.
