N •AO1 Demonstrate a close knowledge and understanding of texts, maintaining
a critical style and presenting an informed personal engagement. (10 marks)
D •i.e. engaging with the texts/having opinions about text and characters, and
E expressing ideas in a sophisticated and coherent way using appropriate

S AO2 Analyse the language, form and structure used by a writer to create
T meanings and effects. (10 marks)i.e. naming techniques correctly (language,
structure and form), exploring multiple interpretations of quotes and
A techniques, looking at the effect of vocabulary and structural choices, linking
