SCOPE AND DELIMITATION
 the scope of the study is determined by the major
variables of the study while sub-variables and their
characteristics, attributes or indicators serve as the
delimitation
 the delimitation pertains to the boundaries of the
study with respect to the major variables
beneficial to mention the locale or setting of the study
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
The researcher should identify the beneficiaries and
the benefits it will give when the problem is solved.
The beneficiaries include individuals like students,
teachers, parents, doctors and others.
- The sequence of the beneficiaries of the research
starts from the most benefitted to the least benefitted
DEFINITION OF TERMS
CONCEPTUAL DEFINITION – that which is given in dictionaries

- it is the academic or universal meaning attributed to a word


or group of words

 OPERATIONAL or FUNCTIONAL DEFINITION

- states the way the term is measured/used in the study
