My Mother's Story: a retired English teacher. Even though I had her POA, etc. etc.: This is how my mother came to be held hostage in a nursing home that is seizing all our assets, and what I have tried to do to end this nightmare of her being neglected and isolated in this "warehouse." Elected officials say it would be "unethical" to intervene in a pending court case! But who knows how long that will take?
