Asyouknowfromrecentpresscoverage,thePresidentofChickfilAcontinuesto makestatementsandsupportcausesthatareclearmessagesofextremeintoleranceand homophobiaandabeliefthatLesbian,Gay,Bisexual,Transgender(LGBT)Americansareless thanothersanddeservetobetreatedassuch. LetmebeclearIdonotwantestablishmentsinmycitythatholdsuchdiscriminatoryviews. Weareacitythatbelievesourdiversityisourgreateststrengthandwewillfightanythingand anyonethatrunscountertothat. IknowfromourlongrelationshipthatyouandyouruniversitycelebratethediversityofNYC. Yourhistoryinthisareaisexemplary.

AssuchIurgeyoutoseveryourrelationshipwiththeChickfilAestablishmentthatexistson yourcampus.Thisestablishmentshouldbereplacedwithanestablishmentwherethe ownershipdoesnotdenigrateaportionofourpopulation. Inendingthisrelationship,IalsourgeyoutokeeptheworkerswhoareemployedbyChickfilA andensurethatthereplacementrestaurantletsthemretaintheirjobs.Theemployeesofthe ChickfilAshouldnotsufferbecauseoftheshortsightednessandhomophobiaofthePresident ofthecorporationthatemploysthem.
