Burlington, VT Today, Democracy for America (DFA), released poll numbers showing that likely voters in Californias Tenth Congressional District overwhelmingly oppose Vice Presidential Candidate Paul Ryans plan to turn Medicare into a voucher plan. When asked if they would support a candidate who advocated transitioning Medicare into a voucher program, only 15% of likely voters said they would. Jobs continue to be a main concern for likely voters in Californias 10 District. When asked what the most th important issue is this cycle, 47% of likely voters in the 10 district said jobs and the economy. Followed by good government and ending the partisan gridlock at 16%. Also, 52% of independent voters in the Tenth Congressional District overwhelmingly favor ending the Bush Tax Cuts for people earning over $250,000 a year. This polling was conducted August 7 and 8 and is considered a strong indicator at how the Tenth Congressional District will vote 82 days out from the election. Jim Dean, Chair of Democracy for America said, These polls indicate that candidate and Astronaut Jose Hernandez is aligned with the needs of the Tenth Congressional District. Its time we get Americans back to work and stabilize the economy Jose has a plan to do just that. Thats why DFA endorsed him as one of our Dean Dozen. Hes got what it takes to get us back on track.
