Executive SummaryIntroduction
Overseas Indians worldwide have been granted equal opportunities and leadingprosperous life except in Malaysia. This is because the Malaysian governmentpractices and implements very serious institutional Malay Muslim religiousextremist and supremacist plans, policies and practices to the extend of reducingand segregating many Indians into literally becoming slaves. Even the MalaysianIndian Congress (MIC) President and immediate past Cabinet Minister of 29years standing, Dato’ Seri S. Samy Vellu has conceded as late as March 2008that the Indians in Seberang Kuari (Penang) are living in worst conditions than inAfrica. The Indians in Malaysia are openly discriminated not by the Malay Muslimpeople of Malaysia but the UMNO (United Malay National Organization)controlled government of Malaysia in direct contravention of Article 8 of theFederal Constitution which prohibits discrimination and upholds equality. In shortthe Indians are excluded from the national mainstream development of Malaysiain almost every aspect of live on a day to day basis.But Malaysia’s UMNO controlled government has successfully over the last 51years since independence camouflaged this reality very well by projecting,highlighting and showcasing the cream of the Malaysian Indian as beingsuccessful and prosperous. But this cream only represents a mere 1% of the 2million Indian populations in Malaysia. About 70% of the Malaysian Indians areleft to rot in the hardcore poor and poor category. I don't agree on what you have mentioned is 100% true....You fact only side line to Indians because you have a narrow mind in looking at overall view. I think what we are today is because of what the BN or previous government have done. We can't deny it. So for me I was from a poor indian family and got scholarship to continue my studies. So again if we look at our indians the gangsterism and poorly educated group is not increasing but infact reducing in a much slower manner. So this is because again the attitude of teach in Tamil school who don't put much effort in emphasising education and discipline to our kids. This teachers are not serious as chinesee school teachers. Again it is our mistake. So there is no pint blaming other for our own failures. I think we should sit as a Team and come out with better plan and strategies to mitigate the problem and help our Indians. I don't think so PR can do any good, they are all same as the BN. So I think many things quoted by you is just one time incident which happens for the past 50 years and this cannot represent the truth. There is truth in reducing Indian as Government servants. I think most of our Indians who fulfill the requirement of university entries get the offer, but only problem here is the relevant course. Beside that there are soem isolated case of Chinese, Indian and Malay don't get place in university. So some of the case reported by you is isolated. Beside that the crime rate amoung the Indian are also high. Who were to be blame the government or the parents who brough them up?....Or the mananagement that their parents work for. So bottomline we are trying to blame and say THE UMNO OR BN Government is bad, but fail to realise that the mistake happen because of we INDIAN for Not focusing on issue and can't work together....WHY THE CHINESE GROUP CAN DO IT AND WE FAIL....Find the truth behind the sucess of Chinese...they are also under the same spell or condition as we. Beside that why only now we are screaming for thing not right and what happen to our voice for the last 50 years. We were just being selffish and just focus on our own glory and don't care for other indian. Beside that we Indians use to divided and rule by cast. Today the rich group are from the so called high cast and the poor are form the low cast. So this is also one of the reason why we fail to overcome the above issue in Malaysia. Guys believe me we are fortunate to live in Malaysia. There is a lot of thing that we can do Intelectually as how the other groups do. They don't show their anger and frustration towards thing but take revenge cooly as we saw form the last election. But we Indian as so call from the brave family and try to fight back the government. So now who suffers?....the Indians and the others so called freedom fighters....the others are enjoying and only some Indians suffer and the glory goes for BA parties. Today many of the Indian group are mis-using hindraf for their own personal advantage or to show their gangsterism in the street. So the good cause of Hindraf is being tranished by the Indians itself....So this is my point of view think wisely and smartly so that we can solve the Indians issue in Malaysia which is not that serious or alarming as mentioned by you.
