A Three-Day Intensive Motivational Interviewing Seminar

Hosted by Resolutions Therapy Motivational Interviewing is an evidence-based practice for clinical counseling, which assists people in making decisions about behavior change. It involves a sophisticated use of well-researched clinical skills that have been demonstrated to help people choose to change in a wide variety of fields, such as addictions, health, mental health, criminal justice, and patients with co-occurring disorders. In this three-day seminar, in a small setting (the group will be limited to no greater than twenty people), seminar participants will learn the essential skills, principles, and philosophy of utilizing Motivational Interviewing. In addition, participants will be given opportunities to practice those skills in a setting where they can receive individualized feedback and coaching related to practical every day use. Call to inquire) Michael Hunter has been practicing Motivational Interviewing since 2000 in an addictions setting, and attended the Motivational Interviewing Trainer of New Trainers course in 2008. Since then he has conducted various Motivational Interviewing Seminars around the state of Kansas for a variety of populations.
