Schedule: The length of this internship is negotiable depending on the requirements of the university or college. An ideal schedule would be 15 20 hours per week. College Credit (non-paid): The internship paperwork must be completed and approved by the schools Internship Dean / Career Center prior to the Interns start date. It is the Interns responsibility to take notes throughout the program and document all tasks and special assignments as outlined in their internship program.

NCM Public Relations Internship

National CineMedia, LLC is offering the opportunity of an internship in our Public Relations department. As an NCM Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our business, develop your skills in the industry and you will be surrounded by people who are committed to helping you learn. The PR Intern will have the opportunity to work on public relations initiatives for the Ad Sales division of the company, NCM Fathom Events and corporate communications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supports PR department and coordinates publicity in association with PR team. Assists in the tracking of daily media clipping reports and maintaining media files. Press materials and internal corporate communications article writing and editing. Assists in the coordination and production of various media lists and reporter databases. Assists in the maintenance and distribution of media passes. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The Intern candidate must be able to form strong and positive working relationships with all employees. Additionally, strong candidates have: Junior or Senior standing required. Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or Marketing degree strongly preferred. Previous journalism/public relations/communications experience a plus! Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under deadlines. Strong writing and editing skills. Detail oriented, proficient at time management and multi-tasking. Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to take initiative and be resourceful when problem-solving. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word as well as Internet fluency. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
