Welcome
It was great seeing everyone at the first meeting. For those Moms who couldnt make it, we had fun catching up with everyone over brunch, meeting the new leadership team, and playing some fun Mommy Minute to Win it games. If you havent filled out your forms (MOPS registration, MOPPETS registration, and the Getting to know you form) or paid your first semester dues, please be sure to do so and turn them in. Also, if you did not have your picture taken last week or want a retake, come see me! Today we will be finding out our discussion groups. We also have Shelly Biays from Parents As Teachers coming to speak and we will be making a craft for our kids. Todays theme is raising emotionally intelligent children and our verse is Romans 12: 9-14.

Getting to Know You

Today we will get to know a little more about Timili Grady and Tammy Atterbury... Timili grew up in Derby and she has been married to her husband, Matt, for 11 years. They have three kids, Madilynn (7), Teagan (6), and Wesley (2). As a family, they enjoy playing outside or at the lake on their boat. Some of her hobbies include embroidery and reading. For her non-mom career, she was a marketing manager at Cox Communications for six years. Her favorite season is Fall, and if she had an hour to herself to relax, she would get her nails done or read by the pool. Timili is new to MOPS this year, so make sure to welcome her!

Tammy grew up in Stillwater, OK and she has been married to her husband, Mike, for 8 years. They have two kids, Parker (3) & Maddie (10 months). As a family, they enjoy playing outside. For her non-mom career, she has worked at a bank for 11 years. Her favorite bible verse is Ecclesiastes 3:1 There is a time for everything. Her favorite season is Fall because of the weather and holidays. If she had an hour to herself to relax, she would spend it on Pinterest. She is also new to MOPS this year, so make sure to welcome her too!

MOPS Swap
Next meeting, we will be having our MOPS Swap, so if you sell something or have a service to offer us, please sign up to set up a table. This will be a fun opportunity to see some of the things us moms enjoy doing outside of MOPS. This will also be the perfect time to shop for Christmas presents or just browse to get ideas! Ask Sarah for more details.

New Babies Copeland Thomas Dahman was born on September 17th, 2012 at 7:36 am. He was 9 pounds, 2 ounces and 19.75 inches long. Congratulations to Jessica and her family.
